Job summary

Dickinson Independent School District seeks an FNS Training Manager to develop and lead training programs for Food and Nutrition Services managers and staff. The role ensures correct menu preparation, monitors kitchen safety, and mentors future managers. Requires HACCP knowledge, Serv Safe certification, and several years in school food service.

This exempt, on-site position reports to the Director of FNS and emphasizes staff development, food safety, and operations support across campuses.

Qualifications

• State Accredited High School diploma or TEA certified GED.
• TASN and/or DISD certified Level IV.
• HACCP trained and Serv Safe Manager certification.
• Three years’ experience in school food service.
• Two years’ experience as Assistant Manager IV or AP1 Manager.

Responsibilities

• Develop, organize, and implement training programs for managers and staff.
• Ensure staff are preparing menu items correctly.
• Monitor food quality and safety in the kitchens.
• Mentor Assistant Managers to prepare them for manager roles.
