Job summary

Midwest City - Del City School District is seeking a dedicated Child Nutrition Supervisor at Midwest City Middle School to oversee daily operations in the cafeteria, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with USDA programs.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ServSafe certification, and related foodservice experience; computer skills are necessary to maintain records and schedules. This position is full-time and on-site in Oklahoma City.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Three months or more related foodservice experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, must possess computer skills.
• Obtain/maintain ServSafe certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain/participate in daily, weekly, monthly rotation schedules for serving, cleaning, cashiering, and back of the house.
• Train, coach, monitor Child Nutrition staff to enhance technical and customer service skills; evaluate staff and resolve conflicts.
• Work cooperatively with all Child Nutrition Department staff, administration, district staff, students, parents and general public.
• Work independently with minimal supervision, follow directions and perform tasks as assigned.
• Read and follow recipes with correct weights and measures; monitor food quality and costs.
