Job summary

Mesquite ISD is seeking a Food and Nutrition Services Manager to supervise campus food service operations on-site. You will train staff, manage production, and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal nutrition standards.

Key duties include planning orders, maintaining records, supervising staff, and enforcing safety and quality throughout food preparation and service. This role reports to the Food Service Area Manager and requires strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Completion of a credited sanitation course and maintain certification.
• Texas Association of School Nutrition Level 2 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and manage campus food service operations on site.
• Ensure proper quantity and quality of prepared/served food in compliance with regulations.
• Plan and edit food orders and supplies using the current software system.
• Maintain production records, financial records, and accurate deposits.
• Train and evaluate Nutrition Specialists and substitutes as assigned.
• Adhere to MISD and FNS policies and ensure safe kitchen operations.
