Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Registered Dietitian to lead nutritionally sound, cost-efficient school food service programs in Fort Walton Beach. The role collaborates with OpX, culinary, and management teams to meet nutrition standards.

The candidate will plan menus, ensure compliance with USDA guidelines, document processes, and support dietary accommodations for students while training frontline staff.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, or RDN Eligible within 6 months of hire.
• Bachelor's degree and ACEND accreditation.
• CDR registration: internship completion, CE requirements, and credentials maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Plan all Child Nutrition menus per USDA guidelines and Aramark strategy.
• Maintain documentation for USDA/state/client guidelines (CN/PFS labels, USDA Workbooks).
• Coordinate use of USDA Foods/Commodities within menus and annual orders.
• Support purchasing compliance and accuracy to menus; review food orders as needed.
• Manage vendor/supplier relationships to ensure stocking, availability, and delivery of items.
• Visit school cafes to assess operations using audit tools (cost control, allergen readiness).
• Assist with new employee training on food safety, menu compliance, and portioning.
• Provide support for dietary accommodations and training of frontline staff.
