Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a fulltime Registered Dietitian to join our nutrition team at HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital, a 309-bed acute care facility on the Emerald Coast.

This position is ideal for a newly licensed Dietitian and includes benefits starting Day 1, with 3 weeks of paid vacation, 3 personal days and holidays, licensure and dues reimbursements, and opportunities to contribute to evidence-based nutrition care and continuous improvement in a supportive healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related field with required ACEND coursework and supervised practice
• Or, for those eligible prior to 1/1/2024: Bachelor’s degree meeting ACEND requirements
• Meets eligibility for RD/RDN via CDR and will become registered within 120 days of hire
• Must meet state licensure/certification requirements at time of hire where applicable
• 0–1 years of management experience; 0–3 years related experience

Responsibilities

• Deliver nutrition care for patients using the Nutrition Care Process (assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring, and evaluation)
• Act as a nutrition resource for patients, peers, and staff; collaborate across teams to ensure safe, high-quality care
• Provide evidence-based nutrition counseling and training to patients and staff
• Maintain professional practices aligned with regulatory and company standards
• Participate in or lead performance improvement initiatives to improve clinical outcomes and service quality
• Pursue ongoing professional growth through continuing education and training opportunities
