Job summary

The Jefferson County Board of Education is seeking a Child Nutrition Program Assistant Manager to direct and oversee our school nutrition services. You will supervise CNP personnel, ensure compliance with safety and health standards, and coordinate daily food preparation and service.

Strong leadership, communication, and tech skills are required, along with a high school diploma and relevant health certifications. This is a full-time, on-site role supporting Jefferson County Schools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Child Nutrition Program guidelines and regulations.
• Ability to meet suitability criteria under state laws.
• Ability to use technology as required to perform job responsibilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees local school CNP operations.
• Supervises and develops CNP personnel and designated staff.
• Assists in food preparation and service according to the daily menu.
• Maintains sanitation and safety standards in all food service areas.
• Coordinates inventories, reporting, and ordering of supplies.
• Ensures compliance with health dept. and regulatory requirements.
