Job summary

Mesa Public Schools is seeking a Child Nutrition Secondary Manager for Skyline High School in Mesa, AZ. This full-time role oversees kitchen operations, meal programs, safety, service, and cash handling at the site level.

The position requires a strong background in food production, sanitation regulations, and staff supervision. Eligible candidates will manage inventory, deposits, and reports, with opportunities for professional growth within the district.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food production and quantity cooking.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulation experience.
• Working knowledge of food ordering and operation of commercial food equipment.

Responsibilities

• Efficient and economical operation of kitchen and proper quality/quantity of food served daily.
• Oversee site meal programs including food safety, sanitation, presentation, service and cash handling.
• Determine and order food amounts for in-house production.
• Train and evaluate kitchen staff; establish job descriptions for kitchen positions.
• Maintain time sheets, daily reports, deposits, meal applications processing and production records.
