Job summary

Gilbert Unified School District in Gilbert Elementary is seeking a Manager - Nutrition Service Elementary to supervise food services, organize meal preparation, and ensure quality and quantity for daily operations.

You will oversee staff, manage inventory, prepare program reports, and ensure health and safety compliance across site operations. This role requires reporting back to the Nutrition Services leadership and collaborating with school teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Serv-Safe certificate is required.
• Valid Arizona DPS Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees food preparation, cooking and serving to meet nutritional standards.
• Orders supplies and maintains inventory within budget guidelines.
• Trains and manages assigned employees for site operations.
• Prepares written reports and documentation for meal programs and inventories.
• Responds to inquiries from students, staff and the public about menu items.
• Ensures a clean, safe and sanitary work environment.
