Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of school food service experience in OCPS or five years in other districts/food service.
• Completion of OCPS School Food Service Manager Internship or evaluation as substitute manager.
• ServSafe certification required.
• Essential personnel during emergencies and may be recalled to district locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise school food service operations in compliance with state, federal, and local regulations.
• Ensure district menus meet USDA guidelines and nutritional standards.
• Procure food and supplies and maintain production records.
• Train and supervise food service staff and evaluate performance.
• Communicate effectively with administrators, parents, and the public.
