Job summary

ACHS - Minnie Howard Campus in Alexandria, VA seeks a School Nutrition Assistant III to support meal preparation, serving, and daily record keeping. The 6-hour day runs 6:30am–2:30pm, for 187 days/year, at the Minnie Howard Campus location.

Responsibilities include leading food service tasks, training staff, cashier duties, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Requires a high school diploma; ServSafe and NVCFM certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Job-related experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead cashier, prep/production, or other duties as assigned by the manager.
• Assist in supervising staff in the absence of management.
• Train new employees with the manager.
• Prepare and arrange food and beverages for students and staff.
• Assist in collecting payments and balancing daily cash records.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during service.
