Responsibilities

• Arrange food/beverages for students and staff.
• Promote the school nutrition program to be self-supporting.
• Prepare reports (bank deposits, production sheets, temperature sheets) per regulations.
• Clean utensils, equipment and areas to maintain sanitary conditions.
• Collect payments for food items.
• Cook food from scratch to meet meal requirements.
• Document waste per health regulations.
• Inspect items for quantity and specs per health rules.
• Load carts and deliver meals to classrooms.
• Monitor kitchen/cafeteria safety and temperatures.
• Receive supplies to meet nutritional requirements.
• Reconcile cash and inventory.
• Serve foods to meet nutritional requirements.
