Job summary

Fitchburg School District Nutrition Services is seeking a Nutrition Services Associate - 6 Hour Helper/Fill in Cook in Fitchburg, MA. The role primarily handles breakfast and lunch service, as well as food preparation, food safety, sanitation, and cash register operations.

You may fill in as cook when the regular cook is out; hours as a cook are paid at the cook's rate per contract/step. Prior kitchen/cafeteria experience and HACCP know-how are preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Authorization to work in the US.
• Experience in school cafeteria work, including food preparation, service and HACCP program.
• Demonstrates knowledge relevant to the position.
• Cook Experience.

Responsibilities

• Primarily responsible for breakfast and lunch service. Also responsible for food preparation, food safety, sanitation, and the operation of the cash register.
• Fill in as cook when the regular cook is out. Hours worked as a cook are to be paid at the cook's rate per contract/step.
