Young World Physical Education is looking for a School Nutrition Assistant Manager in Sophia, North Carolina. You will oversee kitchen operations, assist the manager, and handle responsibilities in their absence. Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least 2 years of experience in food service.
The role demands knowledge of food preparation standards, effective communication skills, and the capability to acquire a bus driver's license.

Must be willing and eligible to obtain a bus driver's license and substitute on the bus as needed.
Assistant Manager must comply with School Nutrition Assistant job description in addition to the criteria listed below. They must assist the manager as needed in the daily operation of the cafeteria. Assistant manager will fill in as manager in their absence.
Physical Demands: Work is considered moderate to heavy physical work requiring the exertion of up to 50 pounds of force. Must be able to withstand heat and stand for long periods of time. Some walking, moving, climbing, carrying, bending, kneeling, crawling, reaching, handling, pushing, and pulling may be involved.
Work Environment: Employees in this position are required to work in indoor and outdoor environments, and come into direct contact with RCSS staff, students and the public.
