Job summary

Whitsons Culinary Group is seeking a dedicated School Nutrition Administrative Assistant to help run daily operations in multiple school sites. You will manage lunch accounts, track attendance, reconcile cash, and enter meal data into Dine Central.

The role requires solid Microsoft Office skills, basic bookkeeping, and a passion for supporting a mission-driven nutrition team. Some travel between sites and occasional heavier lifting are involved.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience with POS systems, cash handling, payroll processing, and data entry preferred.
• ServSafe certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire; local food safety certification required.

Responsibilities

• Answering calls and assisting parents or staff with lunch accounts and Skyward Q POS enquiries.
• Attendance tracking and daily reconciliation of cash deposits.
• Enter meal counts, sales, and data into Dine Central; coordinate lunch counts and menus.
• Print signage, menus, and marketing materials; assist with staff training and safety audits.
• Support multiple school sites as needed, including cooking, production, and serving.
