Philip's Academy Charter School of Paterson seeks a School Nurse to advocate for student and staff health under the Director of Operations. Responsibilities include health screenings, emergency first aid, immunization record maintenance, and coordination of health services within the school.
The role requires a Bachelor's in Nursing, NJ RN certification, and the ability to manage confidential health records.
Formación
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
- NJ State Nurse Certification or plan to obtain within 60 days to 12 months.
- CPR, First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogen certification or certify upon hire.
- Background check through NJ DOE required.
- Excellent English communication; bilingual a plus.
Responsabilidades
- Lead school health services including health screenings and first aid.
- Administer medications per NJ State Law.
- Maintain up-to-date student health records and confidentiality.
- Support Health and Wellness curriculum and instruction.
- Provide coverage for co-curricular activities and supervision.
- Attend staff meetings and participate on committees.
