Qualifikationen

• Must hold a current valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts.
• Minimum of one to two years in child health, community health, or related field; three years in school nursing preferred.
• Current certification in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
• Must be DOE certified or certifiable in educator category (Nurse, All Levels); BSN preferred for eligibility.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care to support student wellbeing and academic success.
• Maintain and organize health records and participate in health program evaluations.
• Coordinate health resources with school, home, community, and health agencies; notify and counsel students and families.
• Develop and implement individualized health care plans with school staff; administer medications with consent.
• Provide emergency care on school premises and conduct mandated health screenings as appropriate.
