HealthPRO Pediatrics, a division of HealthPro Heritage, is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) for short-term, school-based coverage across two elementary schools in Washington State. Immediate start with assignment through October and potential extension through the school year.

The role offers $45-$50/hour (W-2) with benefits, and requires collaborating with school staff to oversee Individual Health Plans, medication orders, and student health needs.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State RN license in good standing.
• ESA certification required for educational setting.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• Current CPR/BLS certification and school nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consult with school staff and families regarding student health needs.
• Participate in IEP process for nursing-related goals and treatments.
• Provide nursing services per IEP prescriptions and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Consult and collaborate with School staff and families in regards to students’ health and wellness.
• Participate in the IEP process in developing present levels of performance, goals and objectives, and treatment recommendations for students qualifying for nursing services
• Provide nursing services through the use of current best practices based on prescribed services in the IEP
• Maintain all documentation required by the district and ASHA’s code of ethics including, but not limited to, daily notes, monthly summaries, and annual IEP’s

Qualifications

• Active Washington State RN license in good standing
• ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• School nursing or pediatric experience preferred
• Experience managing Individual Health Plans (IHPs), medication administration, and student health needs preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently across two elementary school locations
• Knowledge of Washington State RN scope of practice and school health requirements
