Job summary

HealthPRO Pediatrics, a division of HealthPro Heritage, is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) for short-term school-based coverage at two elementary schools in Washington state.

The assignment is immediate, with projected extension through the end of the school year and pay between $45 and $50 per hour on a W-2 basis with benefits.

This role focuses on managing health plans, medications, and student health needs, requiring current WA RN license, ESA certification, ADN or BSN, and CPR/BLS.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State RN license in good standing.
• ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• School nursing or pediatric experience preferred.
• Experience managing Individual Health Plans, medication administration and student health needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consult and collaborate with School staff and families in regards to students’ health and wellness.
• Participate in the IEP process in developing present levels of performance, goals and objectives, and treatment recommendations for students qualifying for nursing services
• Provide nursing services through the use of current best practices based on prescribed services in the IEP
• Maintain all documentation required by the district and ASHA’s code of ethics including, but not limited to, daily notes, monthly summaries, and annual IEP’s
