Job summary

HealthPRO Pediatrics, a division of HealthPro Heritage, seeks a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide school-based nursing services in Talbot County, Maryland. The role includes 1:1 nursing care and accompanying students on transportation to and from school, with additional nursing support during the school day.

The position requires an active Maryland RN license, ADN or BSN, and CPR/BLS certification. Start date is September 28, 2026, with benefits through HealthPRO Pediatrics.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience working with pediatric or school-age students preferred.
• Experience providing 1:1 nursing care preferred.
• Ability to safely provide nursing care during student transportation/bus rides.
• Meet all applicable school district and state health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Consult and collaborate with School staff and families regarding students’ health and wellness.
• Participate in IEP process in developing present levels of performance, goals and objectives, and treatment recommendations for students qualifying for nursing services.
• Provide nursing services based on prescribed services in the IEP using current best practices.
• Maintain documentation required by the district and ASHA’s code of ethics including daily notes, monthly summaries, and annual IEPs.

Overview

HealthPRO Pediatrics has an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide school-based nursing services in Talbot County, Maryland. This position supports a high school student with complex medical needs, including providing nursing care during bus transportation to and from school in Baltimore County, while also supporting another student requiring nursing services during the school day.

• Full-Time | School-Based | Talbot County, MD
• 37.5 hours/week | 7.5 hours/day
• $35–$40/hour
• Start Date: September 28, 2026
• Provide 1:1 nursing support and accompany student on transportation to/from school
