The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a contracted, school-based placement in West New York, NJ for the 26/27 school year. This is a full-time Building Nurse role supporting a local K-12 district with nursing services.

Responsibilities include monitoring student health, implementing health plans, and providing emergency care as needed, while collaborating with school staff and families. Competitive W-2 benefits and clinical support are offered.

Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in New Jersey.
• Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN program.
• Current CPR/AED certification.
• Demonstrated competency in pediatric skills and medication administration.

Responsabilités

• Maintain continuous observation of assigned student throughout the school day.
• Implement and monitor student health plans.
• Accompany student during transportation and community-based activities when assigned.
• Communicate significant status changes to family, school staff, and clinical leadership.
• Provide first aid, daily medical care, and emergency support.
• Maintain student confidentiality per FERPA and HIPAA.

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a contracted, school-based placement in West New York, NJ for the 26/27 school year! This is a full-time Building Nurse role supporting a local K-12 district with nursing services.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Active RN license valid in New Jersey
• Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN program
• Current CPR/AED certification
• Demonstrated competency in the specific skills required for the assigned student:
  • Pediatric skillset
  • Medication administration
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently in a non-clinical environment
• School based experience (preferred)

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
• Ability to work collaboratively with school staff, families, therapists, and healthcare providers
• Ability to maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Prior school-based experience highly preferred
