The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a contracted, school-based placement in Denver, CO for the 26/27 school year. This is a part-time position supporting a local K-12 district with private duty/1:1 nursing services.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado RN license.
• Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN program.
• Current BLS CPR/AED certification.
• Experience working with pediatric students; school-based experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain continuous observation of the assigned student throughout the school day.
• Implement and monitor student health plans.
• Accompany student during transportation and community-based activities when assigned.
• Communicate significant status changes to family, school staff, and clinical leadership.
• Provide first aid, daily medical care, and emergency support.
• Maintain student confidentiality in accordance with FERPA and HIPAA requirements.

Skills

Active Colorado RN license

Pediatric population experience

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a contracted, school-based placement in Denver, CO for the 26/27 school year! This is a part-time position supporting a local K-12 district with private duty/1:1 nursing services.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Active RN license valid in Colorado
• Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN program
• Current BLS CPR/AED certification
• Demonstrated competency in the specific skills required for the assigned student including: trach, suctioning, oxygen support, feeding tube management, toileting and diapering support
• Ability to work independently in a non-clinical environment
• Experience working with Pediatric population
• School based experience (preferred)

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
• Ability to work collaboratively with school staff, families, therapists, and healthcare providers
• Ability to maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Prior school-based experience highly preferred
