Job summary

Ro Health is hiring licensed RNs to work in public school districts across Illinois for the upcoming school year.

Positions are in-person with options throughout the Chicago area, typically Monday through Friday while school is in session. Start dates are ASAP and flexible, focusing on pediatrics and school health. Comprehensive onboarding and support are provided to ensure patient safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• IL state nursing license is required.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Current negative TB test is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage care of students with chronic health conditions by coordinating with healthcare providers, teachers, and parents.
• Provide 1:1 nursing support for conditions such as g-tube, trach, catheter, diabetic management, or seizure precautions.
• Monitor immunization records to ensure state regulatory compliance.
• Provide first aid and emergency care for injuries or illnesses.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans and drills.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records.
• Communicate with parents regarding student health status and follow-up care.
• Stand, walk, and sit for long periods; may bend, crouch, and lift up to 40 pounds.
