Job summary

Ro Health is hiring licensed RNs to work in public school districts across Missouri for the school year. In-person, Monday–Friday schedules while school is in session, with start date ASAP and flexibility.

The role focuses on pediatrics and school health, with opportunities to obtain your school nurse services credential and strong administrative support. New graduates are welcome to apply and will receive ongoing clinical and administrative support, competitive pay, and weekly paychecks.

Qualifications

• MO state nursing license.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• New grads welcome.
• Current negative TB result.

Responsibilities

• Manage care of students with chronic conditions by coordinating with providers, teachers and parents.
• Provide 1:1 support as needed (e.g., g-tube, trach, catheter, diabetic management, seizure precautions).
• Monitor immunization records for state compliance.
• Provide first aid and emergency care.
• Develop and implement emergency plans and drills.
• Maintain confidential health records.
• Communicate health status and follow-up with parents.
• Stand, walk and sit for long periods, bend/crouch, lift up to 40 pounds.
