Job summary

Ro Health, LLC is hiring licensed LPNs to work in Illinois school districts for the current school year. The position supports students with chronic conditions, provides 1:1 nursing care, and coordinates with families and school staff. In-person roles, start ASAP with flexible scheduling, and opportunities to obtain a school nurse credential are available.

Qualifications

• IL state nursing license is required.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Current negative TB result is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the care of students with chronic health conditions by coordinating with healthcare providers, teachers, and parents.
• Provide 1:1 support that may include g-tube, trach, catheter, diabetic management, seizure precaution, etc.
• Monitor and manage immunization records to ensure compliance with state regulations.
• Provide first aid and emergency care for injuries or sudden illnesses.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans and drills.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records.
• Communicate with parents regarding their child's health status, concerns, and recommended follow-up care.
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time.
• Potential need to frequently bend, crouch, and lift (up to 40 pounds).
