Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated school-based RN or Certified School Nurse for a full-time, on-site role near Glen Ellyn, IL. You will deliver direct nursing care, develop health plans, and collaborate with educators and families to support student well-being throughout the school year.

IL-PEL with School Nurse Endorsement and an active RN or CSN designation are required; prior school or pediatric experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Nurse Endorsement.
Registered Nurse license or Certified School Nurse (CSN) designation.
Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred.
Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

Deliver direct nursing care to students, including medication administration and emergency response.
Develop and implement individualized health plans for students with specific needs.
Serve as a health resource for students, staff, and families.
Conduct health screenings and maintain accurate student health records in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to promote optimal student health outcomes.
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute clinical expertise.
