Job summary

Kinderberry Hill Excelsior is opening a School Nurse position in December 2026 for a full-time role with a family-friendly schedule. Shifts run from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with no evenings, weekends, or holidays.

The nurse will oversee daily health, manage medications and immunization records, and support families and staff in a child-centered setting. The ideal candidate is a compassionate caregiver with strong communication skills, experienced in early childhood health,

Qualifications

• Must pass the Applicant Background Study required by the Department of Human Services.
• Must have documentation of U.S. Citizenship or eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Must have daytime availability from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
• Active LPN or RN license is required.
• 1 year of experience preferred or applicable to position.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the daily health and wellness of the children in our care.
• Monitoring children's allergies, medications and immunization records.
• Providing resources and support to families and staff, including new parents.
• Keeping excellent records and documentation.
• Maintaining a clean and safe school environment.
• Supporting school management team in day-to-day operations.

As we prepare to open our new Kinderberry Hill Excelsior school in January 2027, we are excited to announce an upcoming School Nurse opportunity beginning in December 2026.

This full-time position offers a family-friendly schedule with no evenings, weekends, or holidays. Shifts are scheduled between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Working in an early childhood setting, the School Nurse plays an important role in supporting the health, safety, and well-being of our school community while enjoying a positive, team-oriented environment.
