Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for a part-time role at the Floyd Medical Center campus. You will implement the nursing process and provide age-appropriate care across the lifespan, including critical care responsibilities such as cardiac monitoring and ventilator management.

The ideal candidate will have a nursing degree from an accredited school, an active GA/AL RN license with ACLS/BCLS certifications, and at least 1 year of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia or Alabama as determined by job location; ACLS and BCLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Implement the nursing process based on expanded knowledge and experience.
• Provide age-appropriate patient care for children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics addressing biological, emotional, developmental, psychosocial and family education needs.
• Provide critical care including continuous cardiac monitoring, emergency care management, IV admixture infusion, ventilator management, invasive line management and patient ADLs.
