Job summary

Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center - Work Campus Care: School Nurse Program is seeking a Registered Nurse to administer medications, provide basic first aid and support school health services.

The role is full-time, 36 hours per week, with a Monday–Friday school schedule. Current RN licensure in Georgia and graduation from an accredited nursing program are required. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state where you practice.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Registered Professional Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Administers OTC and prescription medications.
• Provide basic first aid.
• CPR training for staff.
• Manage healthcare needs such as Asthma, Diabetes and Epilepsy as examples.
• Develop and maintain relations with parents and stakeholders in the schools.
• Document in Power School and keep medical information updated.
• Reviews and updates immunization and health records at the school.
