Job summary

Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse in the Nursing: Medical/Surgical IU to deliver patient-centered care across the continuum. You will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for diverse patients in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, collaborating with the care team, and adhering to safety standards. BSN-preferred, active RN license, and BLS required.

• Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, and collaborate with the care team.
• Uphold a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies per protocol.
• Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• Float to other units as needed within the service area.
