Qualifications

• Georgia Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing
• BLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to ill or injured students
• Screen and refer health concerns as needed
• Administer medications per physician orders
• Manage chronic illnesses and health conditions at school
• Educate staff on health issues and treatments
• Audit immunization records and health forms
• Document patient encounters in the EMR
• Collaborate with families and physicians as liaison
