Job summary

Always Compassionate Health is seeking a compassionate LPN to provide 1:1 nursing care for a student in a Babylon, NY school setting. The role involves monitoring health, administering medications, and ensuring student safety throughout the school day.

Responsibilities include complex nursing tasks such as G-tube care, tracheostomy/ventilator management, diabetes care, and seizure monitoring. Requires NYS LPN license and 6 months bedside experience; CPR/BLS certification preferred.

Qualifications

• LPN License issued by NYS - Must have 6 months bedside nursing experience.
• Current CPR/BLS Certification.
• Ability to work independently in a school setting.
• Communicate with families, school staff, and healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor health conditions and administer medications per care plan.
• Administer medications and other personalized interventions.
• Coordinate care with a wide array of health care professionals.
• Document nursing notes regarding patient care daily.
• G-tube feeding care, tracheostomy/ventilator management, diabetes care, seizure monitoring as needed.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs and stand for extended periods.
