Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a PRN 1:1 Registered Nurse (RN) to support a student in Sparta, MI. You will provide 1:1 nursing care in a school setting, manage injuries, medications, and health plans, and collaborate with educators to maintain a safe learning environment.

The ideal candidate holds an active Michigan RN license, is comfortable with pediatrics, and can participate in IEP/504 meetings as needed. This PRN role offers competitive pay and benefits for eligible shifts.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan State RN license.
• Ability to pass fingerprinting and background check.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and care plans.
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance.
• Communicate with families regarding student health needs and updates.
• Collaborate with school staff, administrators, and special education teams.

• Respond to emergencies and follow school safety protocols.
• Monitor immunization compliance and support health screenings.
