Job summary

Responsibilities

• Triage students entering the school nursing office; prioritize order of students based on medical need.
• Manage check in/check out of students from nursing using pass system.
• Coordinate immunizations, physicals, etc., with school-based health clinic staff.
• Collaborate with nurses and athletic trainer to manage no gym list/elevator key list; answer and route calls.
• Organize the School Nursing office and maintain inventory of medical supplies; request PO's.
• Update student health information in EMR system (SNAP).
• Provide translation services and facilitate parent communication with nurses.
• Maintain CPR, First Aid, scoliosis screening, and Medical Assisting certifications.
