Job summary

Cranford Park Academy in West London is looking for a School Meal Supervisory Assistant to support lunchtime supervision and ensure welfare and safety of pupils.

The role is permanent, term-time only (38 weeks per year) with a 6.25-hour week schedule. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of the SLT lunchtime supervisors, in a collaborative, supportive school environment. First Aid is desirable; Enhanced DBS will be required.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate will ideally have some experience in this role or similar, but applications from those without experience are welcome.
• Candidates should be caring, patient, self-motivated and able to work from their own initiative.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support lunchtime supervision and ensure pupil safety.
• Work closely with other SMSAs and follow directions from SLT lunchtime supervisor team.

We are looking to appoint a School Meal Supervisory Assistant. The successful candidate will ideally have some experience of working in this role or similar, but we would also welcome applications from candidates who have not had experience in this role.

The ideal candidates will be caring, patient, self-motivated and be able to work from their own initiative. They will need to take direction from the SLT members responsible for the lunchtime supervisors and work closely alongside the other SMSAs. They will be a team player with excellent communication skills.
