Job summary

Clarenceville School District is seeking a Maintenance - Semi-Skilled professional for the 2025-2026 school year. The role involves handling repairs in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, doors and door locks, and serving as a customer service representative for the district’s facilities.

You will maintain equipment, forecast supplies, and work both independently and with others. The position requires climbing ladders, on-call emergency support, snow removal, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• General knowledge in school building maintenance (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, doors and door locks).
• Aptitude and competence in making general maintenance repairs.
• Good communication skills and ability to read specifications.
• Positive work attitude.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• On call for emergency repairs and snow removal.
• Ability to climb ladders and work on flat roof tops.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a customer service representative for the district in dealing with school building repairs.
• Demonstrate a sense of pride in handling work duties assigned.
• Maintain equipment and tools in a clean, safe and inventoried condition.
• Demonstrate a neat and clean appearance.
• Assume responsibility for recommending supplies, equipment and tools to complete assigned tasks.
• Estimates cost of repair projects.
• Assumes responsibility for safe conditions of district equipment.
• Supports other Maintenance staff in completing repairs and projects.
• Performs any “other” duty as assigned.
