Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a school food service program is preferred.
• Ability to work with numbers and perform basic math.
• Strong grammar and written communication skills.
• Willingness to attend relevant training classes/workshops.
• Good public relations skills and a positive attitude.
• Must able to pass a live scan criminal background check.
• Testing may be required as part of the selection process.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen area.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
• Oversee food preparation to meet production needs.
• Accept direction from supervisor.
• Keep records of employee hours, lunch counts, deposits, and production data.
• Coordinate ordering of groceries and maintain inventory.
