Qualifications

  • Knowledge of food service sanitation and recordkeeping requirements.
  • General office management and filing skills are essential.
  • Solid math skills and ability to perform related calculations.

Responsibilities

  • Process and maintain school meal records accurately and in accordance with government regulations, and supervise other food service employees in these tasks.
  • Order food for meal program, obtain accurate counts, and monitor vendor bills; order commodities and non-commodities as needed.
  • Serve food and manage the food service area, ensuring compliance with health regulations and supervising staff and volunteers.
  • Ensure compliance with company and government safety regulations; monitor and manage food program costs.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
