Job summary

Amherst Central Schools is seeking a Food Service Helper for a 10-month term. The position pays $17.00 per hour for 17.5 hours per week on school days, with district-wide location and a start date of October 21, 2026.

Responsibilities include washing pots and pans, dish room work, and minor food preparation. Must lift 40 pounds, stand/walk for the shift, and read/write/speak English. Fingerprinting is required through NYS DOE.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Experience is helpful but not required.
