Job summary

ATC Healthcare Services seeks compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide skilled nursing in school settings across Duval County and surrounding areas. Join a trusted staffing partner with 40+ years of experience connecting healthcare professionals with schools.

As an LPN in the school system, you will administer medications, monitor student health, and collaborate with nurses, physicians, and school staff.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
Current, unrestricted LPN license in the state of Florida.
Minimum of one year of nursing experience within the past three years.
Current CPR/BLS certification required.
Ability to pass required background and drug screening.
Employment physical may be required based on assignment.

Responsibilities

Provide skilled nursing care to students under supervision.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
Monitor and document student health status and responses.
Perform nursing procedures as needed (wound care, catheterization, feeding, oxygen).
Assist students with daily living skills and social development.
Maintain accurate documentation and health records.
Communicate with school personnel, parents, and healthcare providers.
Deliver confidential, age-appropriate care and respect HIPAA regulations.
