Job summary

Sunshine Staffing is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for a school clinic nursing position in Orlando, Florida. This full-time role requires providing comprehensive LPN care, developing health policy, and coordinating with school and community health services.

Responsibilities include administering first aid, preparing health reports, maintaining student health records, and conducting health education in the K-12 curriculum.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license for the state of practice.
• Full command of English (verbal and written).
• Current Health Certificate (if applicable).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• One-year LPN experience preferred.
• Current BLS card.

Responsibilities

• Develops policies, procedures and work standards for school health program.
• Monitors compliance with laws, regulations and policies.
• Prepares health reports for supervisor and health department.
• Provides first aid care and medically prescribed services.
• Instructs students on health education (K-12) and coordinates services with school and community resources.
• Records immunizations and health data and maintains health records.
