Job summary

White Settlement ISD Maintenance and Operations is seeking a skilled Locksmith to help keep facilities secure across the district. You will install, repair and maintain locks, cut keys, rekey systems, troubleshoot hardware, and assist with electronic access-control systems, working closely with Maintenance, Operations and campus staff to meet daily locksmith needs.

Strong reliability and physical ability are required; a valid driver's license is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Locksmith, commercial door hardware, or related maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of locks, keys, door hardware, and basic security systems.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, replace, and maintain locks, door hardware, and related security equipment.
• Cut keys, rekey locks, and maintain district keying systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair doors, locks, and locking mechanisms.
• Assist with electronic access-control hardware and systems.
• Respond to routine and emergency locksmith needs at district facilities.
• Maintain accurate key, lock, inventory, and work-order records.
• Work collaboratively with Maintenance, Operations, and campus staff.
