Job summary

Opaa! Food Management is seeking a Kitchen Manager to direct day-to-day kitchen operations and ensure compliance with safety and health regulations. The role oversees staff, maintains quality and sanitation, and coordinates meal delivery to satellite locations where applicable.

Responsibilities include supervising production, ensuring menu adherence, and maintaining records and inventory using Boss/ADP systems. Opportunities vary by state, and compensation depends on location and position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or relevant experience required.
• Serve Safe Certification; additional certifications may vary by state.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 60 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Monitor food quality and sanitation in all kitchen areas.
• Promote customer service by addressing and resolving food quality issues.
• Coordinate preparation and daily transportation of meals to satellite buildings where applicable.
• Supervise kitchen staff and delegate tasks; report concerns to DNS immediately.
• Maintain compliance with HACCP, HHFKA, CACFP, and Opaa! safety procedures.
