Job summary

Learning Care Group is hiring a Food Specialist to prepare meals for enrolled children and support classroom staff. You will plan home-style, nutritious menus within budget and regulatory requirements, and help ensure meals meet USDA/licensing standards.

You will also assist in classrooms as needed and maintain inventory. This role offers full-time hours with a Monday–Friday schedule and benefits including health insurance and education assistance.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking for groups in a childcare setting preferred.
• Willingness to follow state/local regulations.
• Flexible hours and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Create home-style, nutritious meals within menu and budget.
• Prepare meals and distribute food to classrooms.
