Learning Care Group is seeking a dedicated Child Care Cook, Food Specialist to prepare meals for enrolled children and adapt to school menus and budgets. You will help ensure meals and snacks meet schedule requirements while supporting a positive kitchen environment.

You will follow USDA, licensing and health department regulations, maintain inventory, and assist in classrooms as needed. Learning Care Group emphasizes training, benefits, and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking for multiple individuals in a childcare facility preferred.
• Ability to follow state and local regulations related to food service.

Responsibilities

• Create home-style, nutritious meals and snacks within the school's menu and budget.
• Follow daily menu and comply with USDA/licensing/health department regulations.
• Maintain inventory of food and supplies and reorder as needed.
• Assist in classrooms as needed as an Assistant Teacher/Floater.
