Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or relevant experience in food service.
• Serve Safe certification or equivalent food safety credentials.
• Ability to read, write and present information clearly.
• Basic arithmetic and ability to interpret rates, ratios and percents.
• Ability to follow safety, sanitation and HACCP procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor food preparation to uphold quality and sanitation standards.
• Investigate and resolve food quality and service complaints.
• Coordinate daily meal preparation and transport to satellite buildings.
• Lead daily safety and production meetings with kitchen staff.
• Train, cross-train and certify all kitchen stations and ensure FIFO storage.
• Maintain HACCP, HHFKA and CACFP compliance and safety procedures.
