• Supervises and coordinates cooks and kitchen staff to prepare, cook and serve food while meeting sanitation and service standards.
• Interviews, schedules, trains and counsels hourly kitchen staff; participates in reviews and disciplinary actions.
• Prepares high-quality food items per recipes to meet production and service schedules.
• Maintains proper food temperatures, presentation, portion control and waste tracking.
• Manages inventory: receives, inspects and orders product as needed.
