Hardin County Schools is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for the district's Buildings and Grounds in Elizabethtown, KY. This full-time role (261 days per school year, 8 hrs/day) focuses on commercial kitchen equipment maintenance, HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems in a school kitchen setting.

Applicants must have journey-level or master-level licenses in electrical, plumbing, or HVAC, with preferred experience in commercial refrigeration or cooking equipment repair.

Qualifications

• Any combination equivalent to high school diploma, GED or progress toward GED.
• Three years journey-level experience in one or more trade areas.

Responsabilités

• Inspect, repair, and maintain HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Repair and maintain kitchen equipment, walk-in coolers/freezers.
• Lead other maintenance staff and coordinate work.
• Ensure safety compliance with codes and regulations.
