Job summary

Bullitt County Schools Maintenance Department in Shepherdsville, Kentucky seeks an HVAC Technician for the 2026-2027 school year. You will service district heating, ventilation, and refrigeration systems, and food service equipment.

Requires a Journeyman HVAC License and a High School Diploma, with maintenance experience in HVAC and refrigeration. This is a 12-month annual contract with benefits and a typical 8-hour day schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Journeyman HVAC license required or equivalent experience.
• Maintenance and repair experience in HVAC and refrigeration.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, install and alter district HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration and food service equipment.
• Operate tools and maintain records of labor and materials.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor and Food Service Director.
