Qualifications

• Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• At least one year of work experience or vocational training in cleaning, food prep, or related duties.
• Some positions require a valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Washes objects by hand or with cleaning equipment.
• Cleans dishes, utensils, pots, pans etc. and places in storage areas in an organized manner.
• Maintains products at appropriate levels in prep, serving, or storage areas including service machines.
• Stocks storage areas with various products.
• Cleans, sweeps, wipes down all dining, kitchen, or storage areas and equipment; cleans floors.
• Removes garbage; sets up or breaks down tables, snack bars, display cases, serving lines, etc.
• Assists with periodically scheduled large cleaning projects.
• Assists cooks and others as needed and coordinates activities with others.
• May occasionally prepare food or cook vegetables, entrees, coffee, sauces, meats, etc.
• Other duties pertinent to the department or unit’s success may be assigned.
