Job summary

NANA Regional Corporation, Inc. is seeking a Food Service Worker in Deering, Alaska, to perform cleaning, food prep, stocking, and serving duties in a school kitchen and related areas. You will work with a team to maintain cleanliness and support daily dining operations.

The role requires fluency in English, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Previous related experience is preferred; variable duties may include basic food preparation.

Qualifications

Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
At least one (1) year of work experience or vocational training to demonstrate cleaning equipment knowledge or related work preferred.

Responsibilities

Washes objects by hand or with cleaning equipment.
Cleans dishes, utensils, pots, pans etc. and organizes storage areas.
Maintains products at proper levels in prep, serving, or storage areas including service machines.
Stocks storage areas with various products.
Cleans, sweeps, wipes down dining, kitchen, or storage areas and equipment.
Removes garbage; sets up/breaks down tables and serving lines.
Assists with large cleaning projects.
Assists cooks and coordinates activities with others.
May prepare food or cook vegetables, entrees, coffee, sauces, meats, etc.
Other duties as assigned.
